Interest Arbitration: APWU Presents Support Service Craft and Replies to USPS Financial Argument

Today, Tuesday, October 15, the APWU presented more of their case to the Arbitration Board.


First Support Services Director Stephen Brooks introduced the Support Services Craft. Next labor economist Kathryn Kobe, Director of Price, Cost and Productivity Analysis at Economic Consulting Services rebutted some of the Postal Service’s financial arguments. Finally Valerie Wilson, Director of the Economic Policy Institute’s Program on Race, Ethnicity, and the Economy, spoke about racial and gender gaps in wages in the private and public sectors.
