For 65 years the APWU Health Plan has been serving members of the Postal Service and their families! The APWU Health Plan is a not-for-profit organization that is a department of the American Postal Workers Union. We invite you to join us to enjoy the benefits our Health Plan has to offer.
There are two great plans to choose from:
Consumer Driven Option:
As part of the collective bargaining agreement, USPS pays up to 95% of the premium for career APWU bargaining unit members who have been enrolled in the PSHB for 1 year.
Low premiums don’t mean low benefits!

PCA fully funded each January: $1,200 for Self Only and $2,400 for Self Plus One and Self Plus Family.

Unused funds will rollover to the next year provided that you remain a Consumer Driven member. (Up to 5,000 Self and 10,000 Self Plus One and Self Plus Family)

Members can receive a $25 wellness incentive in their PCA for each family member that completes an annual physical.

No deductible, copayments or coinsurance while you have PCA funds available.
High Option:
This plan provides maximum coverage with affordable premiums. Highlights include:

100% Coverage for in-network preventative care

100% coverage for labs when you use LabCorp or Quest Diagnostic

100% coverage for routine in-network maternity care

100% coverage for accidental injury within 72 hours

$25 copay to see in-network doctors and specialists.

Free and low-cost solutions for diabetes medications and supplies and more!
New! Both Options will allow coverage for up to $200 for custom molded foot orthotics when purchased from a podiatrist.
