September 17, 2023

President Cooper called the meeting to order.

The Pledge

The minutes from the June meeting were read. Scott Nowaczck motioned for them to be accepted. After a

second from Travis Samples the motion passed.

Officers Reports

We discussed:

- All Craft Conference

- Gastonia

- Members Facebook page

- Parking problems

- Attendance

- No-Layoff clause

Jeremy Hughes made a motion to order 40 union t-shirts to give to the new members. After a second

from Scott Nowaczck the motion passed.

Travis Samples made a motion to send 2 members who have APWU insurance to the Healthcare

Conference in Las Vegas Oct. 29- Nov. 1. The union to pay travel and per diem. After second from Scott

Nowaczck the motion passed.

Scott Nowaczck made a motion to spend up to $4000 to purchase equipment needed to have hybrid

meetings. After a second from Rick Goss the motion passed.

Jeremy Hughes made a motion to purchase jackets for all union members. After a second from Django

Daponte the motion passed.

Travis Samples made a motion to have the drawings and adjourn. After a second form Kiva Butler the

motion passed. The winners were $50-Rosalinda McCain, $35- Sheila Mayfield, $15-Monique Goff.

The Winner of the $250.00 jackpot was Rick Roth. He was not in attendance another number was

drawn. The winner was Givenerva Major. She was not in attendance jackpot goes to $275.00 for the

October 15, 2023 meeting.
